CSCS 360 Excavator Experienced
1 Day Course
The aim of our one day (experienced) QSCS/CSCS 360 Excavator course is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge & understanding to safely operate a 360 Excavator.
Who Should Attend?
Those employees who are responsible for or in control of a 360 Excavator.
Course Pre-Requisites:
- A form of Photographic ID is required.
- Have a Valid Safe Pass Card.
- Have proof of 6 Months on site experience in the last 2 years (letter from employer)
- Bring a Current Passport Photo.
- Bring their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc).
- Be at least 18 years of age
Additional Information:
Maximum of 3 learners.
QSCS is only available if the client has access to a quarry.
Training Methods:
Classroom based PowerPoint Presentation.
Practical assessment of operating under the supervision & direction of our highly experienced instructor.
Course Content Theory:
- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008.
- Employers & Employees legal duties under current Health & Safety Legislation.
- Safe Use of a 360 Excavator.
- Pre-use inspection of equipment.
- Site Safety.
- Traffic Management.
Course Objectives:
- On completion of this course the learners will be:
- Aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation as it applies to safe operation of 360 Excavator.
- Able to safely operate a 360 Excavator.
- Aware of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008.
Certification:
SOLAS CSCS Card & QQI Certification.
